About Us

Gibson Research Consultancy (GRC) was set up in 2008 by Mark Gibson. Mark is a polyglot multi-disciplinarian within the health services research sphere with 21 years’ experience in qualitative research methods.

From the earliest stage in drug development through to pharmacovigilance support, the GRC team helps pharmaceutical and biotech companies in the development of information that is intended for patients or healthcare professionals.

With over 15 years’ experience in document design and testing, we provide patient insights and multilingual research support to help you create materials that are clear, concise and appropriate for your intended users.

From our base in Leeds, United Kingdom, we are specialists in multi-country studies and have a global reach, through our strategic regulatory, linguistic and research networks. We conduct projects in 193 countries and territories worldwide, with an average of 65 000 patient interviews per year.

From linguistic validation to software testing, product labelling to branding support, our expertise is wide-ranging and international.  Our services fall into three key domains: user-centred research, document design and multilingual support.

GRC is also known for its ability to complete projects in rarer languages (e.g. Krio, Dholuo, Twi), creole languages (e.g. French-based Creoles, Jamaican Patwa, Sranan), minority languages (e.g. Turkish for Germany, Somali for Sweden, Arabic for Turkey) and indigenous languages, such as Te Reo Māori and K’iche’.

No two projects are ever the same, and we adapt our services to meet your unique needs.
